I'm a 19 year old software engineer and founder hailing from the Caribbean.
I've worked on the following projects:
My journey into business and coding started at the ripe old age of 12, thanks to the popular video game Minecraft. I was fascinated by the idea of creating things, which began with Legos and Minecraft before I discovered that mods (modifications) and addons could be created for games like Minecraft. However, my laptop at the time wasn't powerful enough to handle the resource-intensive nature of Java development, so I started with creating Discord bots before moving into web development.
Over the next six years, I expanded my skills into cloud hosting. In 2018-2019, I launched my first business, Vertile Hosting, offering web hosting, game hosting, and VPS hosting. I also helped friends with system administration and development for their Minecraft servers. My interest then slightly shifted to digital marketing through my mom's agency before eventually leading me into SaaS.
Throughout this time, I've developed numerous software applications, both solo and in teams, which has given me a solid understanding of various technologies and business practices.
In my free time, I enjoy reading blogs about software, global economics, startups, and fintech. I also enjoy playing chess, volleyball, and video games.
